Community Strong.... In the words of author Shannon L. Alder, "One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone."
Taylor & Taylor along with UPS hosted a Community Cookout and Supply Donation event for our UPS and community families that were affected by the tornado on the morning of March 3, 2020. The outpouring of love and generosity is beyond words. $1,550 in monetary donations were collected which will be used to purchase blankets, cleaning supplies, toiletries and gift cards, etc. There is also a conference room full of donated supplies that will be shared with UPS families directly affected by the tornado as well as our community families.

December 2019
We are thankful once again to have been able to bless the pre-k boys and girls of Northwest Headstart Development Center as well as few other families with outfits, coats, toys, and so much more to help make their Christmas special. We were also able to adopted Angel's from the Angel Trees of two Middle Tennessee school as as well as the Carl Perkins Center. Each present was wrapped with love by amazing people excited about giving back to their community. Special thanks to UPS Lavergne, Massman and Paris for your help in making this event a wonderful success.
Event Back Story
13 years ago we started the Gift of Giving M.O.R.E. with shoe boxes filled with toiletries that we wrapped and donated to a shelter for abused women in Carroll, county. Our goal, on that day, was to make sure each resident would receive one shoebox filled with items they needed. Well needless to say we exceeded that goal. We actually doubled it. We knew immediately this event, set to take place yearly, was going to bigger than us and we would just be vessels to bless others. As the years have gone on we have been able to bless hundreds of families with coats, clothing, toys, books, electronics, etc. Taylor & Taylor would not have been able to undertake this task without the help of UPS Paris and Nashville, TN, the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. (University of Martin and Bethel University). monetary/ non-monetary donations from friends near and far, our families, and numerous volunteers and supporters.
October 2019
Taylor & Taylor has designated October as the month we celebrate and recognize our Senior Citizens for their wisdom, hard work, support and endless sacrifice for the generation that followed them. This year, we were excited to be able to prepare and present 75 seniors with necessity baskets. As much as we love to prepare the baskets, nothing can compare to the smiles, hugs and sometimes tears of joy we get to experience with the delivery.

Stress can get the best of us but without the right tools, well Taylor & Taylor added a new tool to our stress-free toolbox. We were able to relax and tap into our creative side. Taylor & Taylor had the best time painting at Jewel and Gems with owner, operator, and instructor Nikki Rice. We were super excited to hear how she turned her passion into a business. We are all looking forward to our next painting experience. If you missed it you missed a treat! Check out our photos on Facebook.
